How can this LibGuide Help Me?

This LibGuide contains explanations, links, and lots of information all to help you find the resources you need for your assignments.

There are four types of resources highlighted in tabs at the top including:
1. Reference for such sources like encyclopedias, which are great place to start for background information
2. Books for breadth and depth of information
3. Articles for research and more current information
4. Web sites  for additional information

There are also tabs for help on how to evaluate your sources and cite them including using the free software EndNote and also on the ethical use of information.

So explore all the tabs and pages (watch for the little down arrow on the tabs as there are more pages). They are designed to help make the process of finding resources easier and hopefully more enjoyable for you. Good luck!

SOLAR

Try SOLAR, the Library's new way of searching online for the Library's academic resources. When you use Solar, you will be searching the Library's catalog for books, ebooks, and videos, Reference Universe for encyclopedia articles, and databases such as Academic Search Premier, CINAHL, PsycINFO and many more for articles all at the same time. Your results will be pretty impressive, so take a minute to look at a tutorial for help on how to use this powerful resource.
