Common Experiences are Dignitas-wide required experiences developed by the Subject Matter Experts. There will be at least FIVE Common Experiences under the following headings: Dignity, Diversity, Benedictine Tradition and Values, Catholic Intellectual Tradition, and Catholic Social Teaching. All First-Year students participate in all Common Experiences WITH their Dignitas class. Subject Matter Experts will have a Common Experience prepared and scheduled by July 1, 2018. (see Dignitas Calendar). Common Experiences are a part of the student’s Participation/Attendance grade, which accounts for 20% of a semester grade.
