If the full-text of an article is unavailable in our databases, you may request a copy be sent to your CSS email. Please fill out the ARTICLE REQUEST FORM.

The College of St. Scholastica Library offers you access to almost 55,000 print and electronic journals, magazines, and newspapers. Our library shelves hold over 100,000 print volumes, with even more titles available electronically through our library catalog, ScholasticCAT. No academic library, no matter how large or how small, can supply its patrons exclusively through its own collection. Over the years libraries have developed a system of sharing resources, collectively known as "interlibrary loan." As a member of the CSS community, you have the privilege of using this great service.

We will try our best to honor all ILL requests. We have borrowing agreements within the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Requests for materials outside of these states take longer, and sometimes cannot  be filled. If on occasion a library requests a fee for lending, we will contact you for permission before agreeing to payment.

If you are ever asked to pay for an article from an online site, check with us. More than likely, if you give us some time, we can supply the article for you at no charge.
