Example:

Explanation:
Place a comma between authors and also a comma before eds. if editors are listed. End with a period. If there are more than six authors listed, give the first three authors followed by et al.

Editors?

Example:
Gibbs JT, Huang LN, eds. Children of Color: Psychological Interventions With Minority Youth. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass; 2007.

Explanation:
Place the word eds. after the editors with a comma in betwee. Follow by a period.

Edition?

Example:
Smith, S. Clinical Nursing Skills: Basic to Advanced Skills. 7th ed. Upper Saddle River, N.J.: Pearson Prentice Hall; 2008.

Explanation:
Do not indicate a first edition. Give edition number in ordinal format such as 2nd, 3rd and so on followed by ed. End with a period.

Shorten publisher's name to most concise form. Separate publisher from year of publication by a semi-colon.

List the year of publication, which appears on the title page or the title page verso (back side of title page). End with a period.
